This conference is a three-day annual meeting designed for the leaders of Texas Family Medicine educational organizations.  Each year, Texas Family Medicine leaders -- department chairpersons, pre-doctoral directors, program directors, administrators, and faculty with administrative responsibilities -- convene in Austin.  Their purpose at this meeting is to exchange ideas, discuss common challenges and develop new perspectives.  This conference is a unique opportunity for leaders in Texas Family Medicine to communicate with one another and to receive joint training in areas they identify as important.  In addition, the meeting fosters an atmosphere of collaboration and cooperation between the departments and the residency programs in the state.
